Welcome to the new site layout of the official Major Richard Winters web site. This is the first release of the new site and is open to any comments or suggestions. The site is still under construction for a little while, but many sections have been completed and are now available.

Great news, readers! It is rumored that Major Winters may receive the Congressional Medal of Honor sometime in October. Thanks to some ex-military personnel who are dedicated to helping the cause, Major Winters may finally get the award he deserved over 60 years ago for his heroic actions during Normandy, D-Day. These are only rumors, but they really are great news nonetheless!
