This site was started to honor Major Richard Winters and his men for their heroic actions during their careers in the US Army. Major Winters has performed numerous actions that deserves him to be honored by Americans today. However, we believe that Major Winters deserves the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions during D-Day in Normandy.
